Unless anyone on here has some that you can swap with I woulda thought the dealer was the only place.

Maybe try the NC30 owners club an see if they have anything. Miche (VFRGirl) put a thread up early on with their contact info in I think.

Maybe we should start up a shim swap shop?

Mick I believe some dealers do work on this basis. A kwak shop I used once said if they had the correct size shim in there shim bin then they would just do a swap, otherwise I had to pay.

Its not a bad idea though, wonder if the shims fit any other bike??

Does anyone know?

shim swap shop is a good idea, i know its daft but it just annoys me to pay so much for such a little piece of metal!! if everyone who has spare shims maybe puts up an offered list and a wants list (bike model and shim size) we could take it from there. what do ya reckon ??????????

I'd pop over to your local Honda dealer and see if they'll swap the shims you need first. I've not met one that won't if you ask nicely and take your own vernier and a decent selection of bikkies for them.....

Do you know anyone with an engineering workshop? A mate of mine made our own up with the help of his father's workshop and a little expertise. Didn't take long and was very satisfying!

good idea mike, thats what we did with mine, measured what we needed then put larger ones in a lathe and eventually got them all to required size....flippin fiddly work though and alot less time consuming to just go buy them....
