Please vote for my community! Only 5 mins reqd!

Hi,

I'm not in the habit of issuing these requests but in this instance, I hope an exception is allowed! Only 5 minutes of your time is required!

I'm part of our local community company in Eshiels, Peebles, Scotland. We are trying to raise money to purchase a small hall in the middle of the community area with the aim of turning it into a community hub for all in the vicinity. We have registered a grant application with the Royal Bank of Scotland Community Force. To be successful we need to accumulate the highest number of votes in our area which happens to be South Lanarkshire.

We're currently 12th out of 45 projects in the area so a massive response over the next 2 weeks is required, please!!

All that I request is that you take a couple of minutes to register a vote for us as follows:

- Go to http://communityforce.rbs.co.uk/project/718
- Read our profile & watch the videos (my moment of fame is in the 2nd one!)
- At the top right, click the "Register Now" button
- Complete the basic details then click "Submit Registration"
- In your email in box you should then receive a "Welcome to Communty Force" email.
- Click the "Confirm your registration" link to take you back to the Community Force site.
- Click the "Log in" link at the top right. Enter the email address and password details you registered with a couple of minutes ago and click Login.
- Click this link again http://communityforce.rbs.co.uk/project/718 to see the Eshiels Community Company page.
- Tick the "I accept..." box then click "Vote for us"
- If you are successful, you should see a "Thanks for your vote message" appear.
- Click "Log out."

I really encourage you to forward this email onto all your friends & work colleagues - the more votes we get, the better the chance we have of being successful! Voting closes on Sunday October 23rd.
