View Full Version : Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you.....
.....another machine in the Red Bus Company. Firstly we had the Big Red Bus, now sharing garage space we present, the Baby Red Bus. :D
Equipped with a 49cc powerhouse fuelled on an exotic pre-mix cocktail of 95 octane unleaded petrol and synthetic 2-stroke oil, thus churning out a rice pudding skin frightening 2 bhp. Enough to haul around at a terrifying 35 to 40 mph.
Bloody great laugh and as mad as a box of frogs. :} :goofy: Completely knackered the toe sliders and partially worn the edge of the soles on my old biking boots. :h
Made the 'headlight' for the Baby Red Bus by tracing round the headlight cover of the Big Red Bus. Then reduced it by 50% on the photocopier and cut it out of aluminium tape. Just waiting for the Honda wings for the tank and VFR logos for the fairing to come in the post. :)

Yea, there is one of the F***ING things in our street. Drives me mad with the whining at all times of the day and Friday/Saturday Night. Now where is that old oil?I can imagine how annoying they'd be in a residential area. :angryfire If they're going onto the road give the Old Bill a tinkle.
At least I can usually find a nice quiet corner of an airfield to play on at weekends. :D
John, Curly says can he come to play on your quiet bit of tarmac please.
There is a nipper down here that scoot up an down the road on one at night. No lid or anything  He is joined with his mate on one of them stand up scooter things too, blummin menice they are. I'll admit, I wasn't after an overly expensive one. It cost £225 from www.fun4kids2play.com (http://www.fun4kids2play.com). The Mini Red Bus has a 2-stroke single cylinder 49cc engine putting out about 2 bhp at 8700 rpm. It starts using a hand pull, like a lawnmower. Has a centrifugal clutch, basically rev and go. It's got front and rear cable operated disc brakes. Takes 2.5 litres of pre-mix fuel in the tank. Will thrash along about 35 mph, give or take a bit. Measures just over a metre in length, half a metre wide and a little over half a metre tall and weighs in at 23 kg unladen. It fits nicely in the boot of my Golf.
The little VFR logos and the Honda wings arrived today, :) so they're going on tomorrow or Saturday. A further photo will be posted at the weekend.
Or if you want a midi moto like Curly's give me a ring, full spares backup as well. ;)
Cheers John,
As he is now going on about a midi, I will contact you Paul.
Cheers
Nev
Just realised, that is a midi, isn't it???????????
Here we have the Baby Red Bus, complete with it's VFR logos.
