The Philips Jackrabbit 4 is an external DVD/CD Recorder/Player for your PC and a DVD/CD player when attached to a TV or Stereo system. Not much bigger than a personal CD Player but it is mains only powered, however the input is 12V so it should be possible to power it in a car.

£64 + VAT and the RRP is £130+ BARGAIN! One site I went to retails it at £220!!!
It works a treat too, USB 2.0 connection is great on my laptop and PC, infrared remote when used with a TV for playback.
The write speed is a bit slow but that is because it's USB. Acceptable though.
