My Scorpion can and link pipe came today. so i thought i would take some photo's of how to change it.

Because i wanted to clean the pipes i first removed the belly-pan. Under the bike there is a 12mm bolt that holds the link pipe to the header pipe. also the bolt that holds the can to the foot peg hanger is 12mm to. remove the seat and then remove the right side seat fairing. there are 2 bolts on top and a push clip fixing at the bottom near the brake pipe. there is also a push fitting behind the panel that you just pull free them taking the panel off. you then need to unclip the cable that comes from the exhaust. remove the bolt holding the exhaust holding the can to the peg hanger and wiggle the can off the header pipe. you also need to remove the gasket from the header pipe to if your new link pipe is a strait fit on to the header pipe. when fitting the new link pipe and you have a center stand, i found that the easiest way to fit the clamp was with the 10mm bolt head to the left at the top at about 45' downwards (see photo). it's then a case of fitting everything else to the bike loose, lining it all up and the tightening it all up.
It's an easy job to do, but thought this might help someone on here.

Looks nice in carbon :d:

I don't like the low slung position though. I bought both high and low link pipes so I could still use the luggage with the pipe. Takes 5 minutes to swap over.
