Hi everyone

I thought i would make my first post a "Hello" one. :wave:

My name is Martin i'm 43 and i'm in South Wales. I'm married to Joy who also rides and has a 12 reg Yahahahahaha XJ6F. The past 4 years i have been riding a Suzuki Hayabusa. So i thought it was time to change. I have not got it yet, but will be picking it up next Friday, A brand new VFR1200f in Black. the last time i had a brand new bike was in 1986 when i first passed my test. it was a Kawasaki GPz305.

I look forward to using your forum and become a member along with you all. I hope that in time i will get to meet some of you and get to be able to call you friends as i have always enjoyed talking to people when out and about on the bikes with my wife.

Hi mate, Welcome aboard, great choice of bike and Forum, Im sure you will love the bike, much easier to throw around than the Busa and nearly as much usable speed, plus you wont have to replace the chain and rear tyre every time you use it! :beer:

Envious of your colour choice - when I bought my red one a year ago the Honda site mistakenly had colours of the black one displayed, I was very disappointed that it was not available. I also moved from a hayabusa and have not regretted that move at all - if you want to start the comparison just check out the build quality. If carrying a pillion is in your plans your in for a treat; easy to adjust suspension (did you ever try adjusting pre-load on the busa!) giving really good handling even fully loaded, no whinging from the back and plenty of room for comfort (I am an 11st short arse though).
