View Full Version : 12v Socket
Folks,
I am just about to pick up the vfr. I am thinking of getting the socket installed: where does this go, somewhere near the cockpit or below the seat ? Does anyone have any pictures ?
Thanks in advance

not just below the seat, but under it, pointless and expensive!
Here you go. :)

Under the seat which is fecking useless :bang:
It really winds me up when SH300i and 600 silvewring have a 12volt socket as standard:mad::mad:and yet we have to pay best part of £100 to buy and install
And you need the harness which is more money:bang::bang::bang:

Alternatively you can do what I did and fitted a marine grade socket on the black plastic to the side of the faring.
I usually keep my phone in my tank bag and charge it up whilst riding far better than having it under the seat.
The only thing you have to do is use one of these to keep the height down.
