View Full Version : VFR1200 paint
Compared to any other bike I have had,
I think the VFR1200 paint is as scratch resilient as a Lotto scratch-card.
What do you say?

seriously tho this is one of the best paint jobs I have seen on a bike for years
oh and "Red Is The Magic Colour"
The tank shows scratches easily but the fairings seem pretty resilient. I installed a tankslapper to protect the tank.

Baglux tank cover for me, seems a shame to cover that lovely tank up but the cover looks pretty good, Im having the same concerns about drilling holes in the fairing to fit the R&G's, damned if you do and damned if you dont!

The littlest pebbles under a tank bag will cause major scratches :violin:
I use NuFinish Scratch Remover. It erases them like magic. Well, untill I but the tank bag back on.

Yes the peg hangers too but they did wear quite quickly
on my vtec aswell, also got some wear where my legs touch
the tank (plastic bits) in just 300 miles, had to put some see
through blobs on, i'm not a great fan of stuff like that!!
Still love the bike though.
