Well Austria will be my first BO tour in August, although I've done a bit independantly. Looking forward to it, but a bit nervous about riding in big groups and showing what a wuss I am on hairpin bends I get wobbly going up Hartside!! So you've been warned, stay back!!

Also I have a short range bladder, usually shorter range than my fuel tank

I have been offered an overnight stop before the off, to save a long day down to the tunnel from oop north, thanks V. Another example of what a great club this is.

The May tour will be my first solo tour, last year I went pillion with Les to the Verdon, that was fantastic, we had a great time. I'm really excited and can't wait, bit nervous but having been with some of the people before I know what a great bunch they are Its just taking so long to get here.

Hey Mick.

Look forward to seeing you on the Austria trip in Aug. I've done a bunch of BO trips before and come back because they're so much fun with such a great crowd. You'll have no worries enjoying the roads in a group too .. there's plenty of choice deciding who you want to ride with and how you go about it - for me that's the beauty of these trips.

Lyn, good-on-ya for doing the solo thang!

Roll on the summer.

Mick -- what you will find is that the brillant thing about the drop-off system is that when you need to empty the bladder
1) pass a few people and move to the front
2) get dropped off
3a) make SWIMBO hop off and point in the right direction
3b) hop off and run for a hedgerow to have a quick leak
4) get back on and wait for Tail End Charlie
5) carry on

Trust me I did this all the time on our last tour... ask Bitwobbly
I drink too much coffee...
