The WWII Tour July 2011

Just about two months to go before the start of this tour, so time to start a discussion thread about it. And what better way than to tell you about a programme on TV about the building of the Bouncing Bomb.

Tomorrow, (Bank Holiday Monday) 2nd May on Channel 4 at 8.00pm. The original calculations have been lost, but this programme tries to recreate the Dambusters bombing raid. Looks interesting, so I'll be watching.

Goes without saying that Bert and Dave have already been inappropriate, but with some assitance from NIck & Jacques I should add.

I'll start a blog tomorrow when we're in Dachau, there for 3 nights so I'll have more time. So far so good, all arrived at first hotel safely and teh weather was great on the way down here. Just had dinner at Le Sommelier, fantastic as ever.
