Default Bye

Hi everyone. Just wanted to say goodbye to a great forum and a good bunch of guys. My '94 R1100RSL was totaled on May 12. Pickup turned in front of me (he said he never saw me). I was only going 30mph and full gear, and suffered broken hip, broken ribs, and collapsed lung. Scary as hell, but could have been much worse. I'm recovering, and just bought a '07 R1200GS. I was alwas happy with the RS and hope I like the GS as well. Just joined the GS forum. Thanks to all.

Sorry to hear that another RS (and rider) has bitten the dust. Hope you enjoy your GS - I did mine, though it was an 850. The UKGSer site is a good 'un, though not for the sensitive and/or humourless.

At least you didn't get an RT; your pulse must still be ok

Oy! I resemble that remark!

Sorry to hear of your woes but glad you're recovering and still on two wheels. Take it easy if you can. Plus one on Trullion's comments re UKGSer.

I have to agree with you guys. There is no activity on the GS forum. At least the RS guys post and ask for/give information and advice (for what it's worth). Good news from the doctor today. I'm off the crutches! Hoping to take a short ride after work to see how it feels. I hope everything still works ok (I'm talking about me).

Not to pimp other forums., but do you get on advrider? They're pretty active in the "BMW R" bikes mostly with GS stuff. I read it only once in a while to see any new RS items that may pop.

I come here daily though.
