Hi..anybody know anything about Mcpherson struts..I need a rear shock and there's one on ebay? con

My Rs is haunted! A few weeks ago I took my 03 Rs out after 2 months being idle and The rear shock started to leak oil..down on the exhaust too! nice! so I cleaned it up today and drove it intermittently and checked for oil but nothing..Great I thought there's a bunch of euro saved..until the Brake Failure light started to flash with the rear brakes very spongy..stopped using front brake no problem, turned off ignition and drove off as per normal and it was fine..same happened again and it was fine after repeating stop start process! any ideas..don't like the idea of having no brakes next time! con
