Front rotors are quite under their minimum thickness and those little "bobbins" (?) that make the disks floating look like they were mashed; the guides for the three ones with the c-spring (?, again: sorry) are completely worn out and you can hardly see them.
After 100000 km I think it's time to change front rotors.
I don't want to pay extra Euro to BMW for the same parts that Brembo could sell me for half the price or so (like brake pads), but the problem is that on Brembo catalogue there aren't spare disks for R1100-- bikes (!). :dunno:
So, I think I'm going to try EBC. Any experience with them? Different choices?
Thanks in advance.

I will just mention that my front rotors went about 150,000 miles before they were under spec. I have had to replace the bobbins about every 50,000 miles or so.

When I needed new rotors, I also was reluctant to buy them from BMW at $400 per. Instead, I found a front wheel with a small ding for sale, including the rotors, for $300 total. I should probably have the wheel repaired, because the ding doesn't look too bad...
