I added another essential component to the bike today. As I have fitted up a bluetooth helmet headset for my phone, all I needed to make operable to the degree I needed was a waterproof mounting box which enabled me to 1. see the screen to see who is calling so I can choose to reject or recieve a call and 2. Able to operate the touch screen if possible.
I purchased a RAM mount and the accompanying correct size waterproof box for it to sit in. All up it was $100. A bit exxie, but worth it for what I need.
I fitted it all up this PM. It Took 10 minutes literally! :Beer:
I can now know who is calling, as well as operate basic phone functions when neccessary while on the move without removing gloves. The phone i have has some shortcut buttons on the face in addition to the touch screen which is how I am able to push buttons in gloved fingees! As well as the voice dial capability it should hopefully work well!
