Roady multimedia clip

Just got a multimedia clip #PV675-BT from http://www.dallasmotorcycles.com Now I could pop off the unit without prying @ the roady with a screw driver when it's in the clip mounted to the hoon hardware mount :D just thought I would pass this on...

replace the Hoon mount that screws directly to the reservoir? :confused:

No this goes between the hoon mount and the roady, the back plate goes on the hoon mount, and the roady clip mounts to the front piece with the roady in it.

When I first got the unit installed with the hoon mount I got from cycle gadgets, I thought there was some trick to taking the unit off. So I called and asked them, they told me to use a flat blade or screw driver inserted between the roady and the backing clip on the bottom side and just pry down easily so it pops out. Well only half a dozen times or so doing things there way, the roady is getting all scratched up underneath.
With this inexpensive mount it's a much easier way, plus I don't feel like I going to snap the backing clip on the roady every time I was prying at it with a screw driver :bang:
