This is the Grifter License Plate Trunk I purchased from E-bay for $19. I think it is well worth the cost, and would work on almost any bike.

Yes, I know it is on my KLR, but there was no place to put the registration and insurance papers.

Open. You can see the little sleeve that comes with it for the documents. Helps keep them dry, though one end is open; it is a tight fit so they should be fine. Yes, the sleeve is level but the bike isn’t!

Obviously it is big enough to fit more stuff in there. I was thinking the BMW Anonymous Book would be a good choice for BMW Guys.

A long shot. You can see there is room for tire movement.

A nice snug fit. It can’t go any higher without removing the license plate light. Not that that mud covered bulb is doing anything.

Cool gadget Jim. So...you obviously have "Jim's RS" and now we see "Jim VB" for license plates on your bikes...what do you have on your car(s)? :D

Cool accessory, I have one, however the anonomous book is too big for it. I painted the lock face black to be more inconspicuous.,
