OO casey opens mouth.
http://www.motorcyclenews.com/MCN/sp...yamaha-return/ Rossi replied on Twitter "Always very nice my friend Casey ah ah ah" Find his comments Interesting as coming from a man running away with his tail between his legs !!! Cant wait to see the next race

Wouldn't say Casey is running away with his tail between his legs, he's decided to retire. I personally think he will win the championship this year. Don't get me wrong, I'm not his biggest fan, but he does have a point in what he is saying about Rossi's performance on the Ducati, it has been pretty woeful, Hayden has performed better in recent races.

Typical Moaner again, funny for a guy who left Ducati to go to honda so he could win races and titles again to criticise Rossi for essentially doing the same thing
.The ducati must be a dog or they'd be getting better results and wouldn't need Rossi to provide them - let's face it you don't get to MotoGP if you aren't a fast rider capable of winning races, just some guys can shine more on a less than perfect machine and what one racer deems perfect to push to the limits another may well struggle with. you've only got to look at F1 for a comparison on that front, Vettel vs Webber, Hamilton vs Button, Alonso vs Massa - All of those guys are top level racers yet a lot of the time recently the first one has walked all over the second one in equal machinery. Guys like Stoner and Alonso are obviously capable of wringing performance and results out of a less than perfect machine yet put them in equal "perfect" machines (Honda/yamaha or Red Bull/maclaren of the last few seasons maybe) and suddenly they don't have a massive advantage anymore. I for one am looking forward to seeing if Rossi can return to his previous form on the Yamaha, I used to love watching Lorenzo chasing him down only to make a move and have Rossi put him back in his place such a shame that bone sticking out through the leathers nasty accident effectively ruined his career chances for a while.

I find it quite incredible that after all rossi has achieved it's dismissed out of hand on other forums i frequent, yes to some it may have tarnished his image but what off melandri/hayden etc even stoner walked cause he wanted to win!
imo rossi went there to late in his career and to soon after that leg break, maybe a younger more gung ho rossi, may have been up for it who knows? I totally respect what stoner's doing that takes some balls and im a fan and will miss him, but the wheel moves on and time will tell on rossi. imo again he's making the right move if you like winning go where you have a chance to. |
