I replaced those plastic wing nuts with nylock nuts, and leave the mount on MeBike at all times.
You need imperial ones, though, as the bolt is an American one.

Hiya Muttley,
Awesome write up!  I thought I read something like this is a while back! How have you guys found that 2 short arms arrangement? It there more vibrations from having that, instead of one lone arm, connecting the mounts and the satnav? Reason I ask is that: 1 I actually have 2 of those short Ram Arms. 2. Bit apprehensive about adding any more vibrating flex onto my vibrating bike mount! (A well documented issue, in another threads! )Hope you can advise Cheers Martin Quote:
