Default Scottoiler

Fitted a Scottoiler the other day, got it for a reasonable price off ebay. Had it fitted n up an running in bout 1 1/2 hrs longest part of that was deciding where to fit the resivoir. In the end fitted it on the outside of the rail where the rear subframe meets the rear footrest hanger frame. The rest was a piece of cake to fit. only concern is that the dial is wound up to the last no before prime. Now need a dry day to test it out.

Am getting about two per min as per instructions (they also tell you to ignore the numbers) but thought would have been more. if it were turned up that high, thought maybe squashed tube as was a bit over eagar wi the lighter but it made no difference also have it running behind the hugger bracket that is secured behind the front foot rest.still no difference at all. will wait n see

Two per minute is the maximum advised, so if you're getting that at the top of the scale you're fine. On dry days you can turn it down to one per minute quite happily, and I generally run mine at not much more than that. Apart from anything else you can get a little fling onto the tyre at it's high settings.
