Dainese boots?

I need a new pair of boots, and am getting close to a decision.

I've tried a pair of Dainese Fulcrum Gore-Tex Boots and they're nice and comfy, but I want a little more bling, so they're getting a pair of Dainese TRQ-Tour Gore-Tex Boots in for me to try out at the weekend.

If the TRQ is as comfy as the Fulcrum, I'll have them, and if not, I'll have the Fulcrum.

The boots have to be Gore-Tex.

Does anyone have any experience of Dainese boots? Are they any good?

I have a pair of Dainese Goretex boots, not sure which model as they're over 10 years old. Up until 2000 I worked for a Dainese dealer. Have always been comfy, nice protection for an understated touring boot. Crashed in with scars to prove it and still waterproof. Thought they were leaking on our last Wales excursion, it was tipping it down on the way home, but when I took 'em off my socks were dry. Just my imagination.

I have my tea-bag Sidis for summer wear and these for winter, when/if they finally leak I'd certainly consider another pair of Dainese but I'm note sure if they're made by the same manufacturer any more. Dainese, when I was in the trade, didn't actually make their own boots. Think it was Oxtar for a while

If the TRQ are a good comfy fit, those. If not, the Fulcrum, which I know fit and are comfy, but they don't look as good or have as much protection as the TRQ.

Think I'm going for TCX S-Race gore tex next time for ride out boots, my alpine*'s are like wearing slippers, all day comfy but squeak, I'm fed up with sounding like a mouse, will stick with my spyke ones for commute & would replace with same

You should have got the supertech R's, the moving parts are all internal so don't squeak
