Well, trip is over now and I'm back at work on the Isle of Man. It was a fantastic experience, I don't know if anyone read my blog but if you did I hope it gave you an insight into the trip and that you enjoyed it.

gday rob.just spotted your post.ive spent the last 3 months riding through europe on my blackbird and have just arrived back in basildon to ship my bike back to australia.we may have crossed paths at some stage.i was at lake bled as well,and enduring the traffic jams was worth it.

Hi Ken, yes we may well crossed paths. Lake Bled was a lovely place and one I hope to revisit. Have a safe trip back.

Hi PJ , Thanks for reading and the positive comment, I suppose it's one of the advantages of no wife but don't think I'll list all the pros and cons to that one . I Have managed to blag a month of this year, albeit in August and so I think I will be off on blackie again. If it is anything like last years trip it will be well worth having no leave for the rest of the year.

Fully recommend it when that retirement looms mate.
