Sorry Joeboy,
would liked to have joined that one, but have treated
myself that weekend @ The North West 200, have never
been before, but it should be a buzz,
Cheers
but I'm going through a "crowd adverse" stage, so limited myself to the Catalunya GP this year.

So good on ya bud.
Hopefully get the Samster out (if we can prize him away from his current playboy liefstyle for a few hours :}).
Leaving Box by 8 via A29 and A272, propose to arrive by 9.30ish, demolish a breaky and then ride some roads with ya Pete. Er... I'll qualify that; ride some roads behind ya :}.
Reefers & tyres. You still running that Dunlop on the front
My experience of 020's is that fronts last for about 7k miles and rears about 6k.

Playboy lifestyle????
I thought a day's waterskiing in the New Forest with a professional hooker and then a couple of Viagra and a load of Coke the next day with a 6'2" stunner was normal behaviour when the sun was out!............or am I getting old?
That bleedin' Viagra rocks guys. Mate of mine just got sent 2000 100mg tablets from Thailand..........they're a right laugh..........poor bitch was scratchin at the bedroom walls trying to escape from me by the time I'd finished............I had to test them out though didn't I.............lemme know if anyone fancies giving them a go.............
 Samster:bow:
just covered the laptop in tea - cheers mate !
Personally, when I'm in "Dirty Sanchez" mode I use old chineese remedy "Suifan's Kwang Tze". Contains - Aloe Vera, Clove, Korean Ginseng and Cinnamon (au natural).
It's the stuff the porn star guys use. Rub it on the end of ya knob (stings like fook for a sec) but then it begins to go numb, resulting in "shag for hours" ability without.....................er I'll leave at that :}
Samster
24-04-2003, 03:17 PM
That sounds really cool mate...........I'd like to give some of that a go AS WELL as a couple of viagras..........need to find another bird though to try it out on though as I don't think that the tall one would let me do it again...............dog on heat wasn't the word!

your not seriously going are ya??? I thought you had enough of traffic from Monday - Friday. I'm certainly not going anywhere near the place (fookin nightmare!). Infact, I'll be going in the opposite direction, 'cos I prefer an empty road - perhaps it's just me, perhaps I'm a freak, an oddball and have been getting it totally wrong for the last 23 years; but I thought biking was all about actually riding ya bike and getting away from the masses :dunno: :violin:

Hi all,
It looks like the majority of you will be travelling on the A272 or the M27, either way you will all have to use the M27.
Just after the M3 meets the M27 there are some services, it would make the ideal meeting place.
What kind of riding are you all looking for, scenic, scratching, blast etc.
Let me know and hopefully I can tailor a ride to suit.
Those travelling on the A272, be warned it is a superb road but it is heavily patrolled especially by police bik

You're leaving yourself wide open again M8 !!!!!
Admitting to knowing the best Motorway Service Areas for an iced coffee !!!!!! :}
Just jesting !!!!
Motorway service stations ??????????
The route I was proposing to take when posting this thread was down the A29, across the A272 to Meon Hut and then down the A32 towards Fareham (all cracking roads). At Fareham pick up the A27 then onto the A3025 - A3024 towards Totton where you pick up the A35 to Lyndhurst (avoiding the M-ways :m ).
Now, can we please have less of this m-way business as I'm very "boring road" adverse :} and so should you be Dave, given you nearly fell asleep on the "A3" a couple weeks back (LOL).
Leaving Box at 8.00, we should be at Lyndhurst by 10 at the very, very latest ('cos we gotta make allowances for Reefer, LOL).
How does that fit with you Pete, Sam, Lee & Dan, ???
[Pete QUOTE]Those travelling on the A272, be warned it is a superb road but it is heavily patrolled especially by police bik[/QUOTE]
Pete, you wouldn't be refering to the unmarked Blue and/or Burgundy Pan European or even the eye in the sky that followed us the other day for about 5 mins on the A272 would you?
We also have first hand experience of unmarked black Volvo's on the A29 and everyone knows that the A32 is used for high speed pursuit training, so watch out for Scooby's and more Vulva's!
Any other tips would be gratefully appreciated Pete.
Pete, I also read the B3055, B3054 & B3056 down to Beaulieu are good and have decent surfaces?
1200Pete
27-04-2003, 10:24 AM
So where do you want to meet service station or Lyndhurst :dunno:
Trust me I know motorways are boring but the roads from the A32
to Lyndhurst are a nightmare + they have just put up 32 new speed cameras in the Southampton area and the A32 comes out miles off route.
Would say that best bet would be to stay on A272 untill you hit the M3 then it's a very short run to the M27, then again it's only a short run down to Junction 1, not even time to sleep !. From there we will take the A337 down to Lynhurst and the B3056 to Beaulieu and from there you are on a mystery tour.
The cars and bikes to watch for are, any dark Pan, Green, blue (dark and light) volvo V40's with a boot, Hampshire has no police chopper but watch out for there spotter plain it is blue and white with twin engine and the undercarage is perminently down, this is used for speeding.

As far as the day is concerned, I can't make Sunday now and I know Looey & Russ can't make Sunday either, so it's gotta be Saturday. Now, all we gotta do is pray for good weather.

The only speed limits I have a problem with are those in towns/villages (40's/30's). Please tell me we aren't gonna blast through 30's at 80!!!!!! There ain't no skill involved in that, plus speed limits give's some time for slower riders to make up a bit of time before being left behind again :}

I've no intention of loosing my license just before my trip to Spain or at any other time for that matter and I've just got rid of my 6 points. I'll save the continous fast stuff for the track, so maps maybe useful as I for one WILL be slowing down for villages as Cruser and I did on our last ride out.

missed a good one joe!
as per usual i went through a set of hero blobs in just a few hours..and me tyres took a hammering on the twistys..but ive come to expect that now anyway
ok i turned up late:eek: as i did not decied to go until ten to nine, thought id head them off at the bike gaff..got there..noone about:dunno: ..knew i was quick so i put it down to maybe one of the others slowing down there group..so i waited..waited..had a fag..waitied..saw a couple of 600s pull in..but not the correct group!
phoned dave t..only to find due to a little drizzle all the hardened riders round at petes gaff, feet up watching dvds!
so we had a few brews and some grub (cheers pete) and then headed back to our various points in the country
oh and by the way that little ride back to the m27....i wasnt even trying..and i think the bike was only running on three cylinders...and errrr the front tyre pressure was a little low:blush:

Pete,
Firstly as you were the host to the days events I indeed too must say a big thanksyou to you for being so hosipitable and letting us dry out in your luvvvly gaff. Your missis is one fine cook and I cant say a big enough tahnsk for the energy grub that we recived. I must say to everyone new and old that I am sorry if I was not exactly in the picture during the ocurse of the day - following an extremely heavy Friday night out on the town then a ridulously early start on Sat I must say I was well and truly battered and not the most coherant person out. NOT MY USUAL SELF may I add.
So yes thanks to everyone for what could have been a shite day but indeed turned out to be great fun despite the weather being balls!
Oh and another cheers to Pete for getting out ur vids of MAch 2/3, what a superbly class bit of camera work, hopefully reefer will come up trumps and sort out a err hmmm "copy"?
Cheers to all and yes I totally agree that we should indeed finish the ride off one good weekend!
