SHORT EURO TRIP

I want to do a short 2 to 3 day tour leaving from Dover and taking in some WWII sites and nice scenery.

I went to Normandy beaches earlier in the year so want to go East this time...my only thoughts so far are Calais, Belgium, Holland and back to Harwich? (as I live in Norfolk) but I want to flesh this out a bit!

Any help or ideas would be much appreciated...

If you've visited Normandy already try the Ardennes in Belgium, site of the German breakthrough in 1940 and 1944. A very scenic area and generally overlooked by tourists. I even have a friendly blackbird owning local friend who'll show you the best roads. Let me know !
